Split peas with capers

Quick Overview

Three generations in Delatola Cottages in the place of Smourdia above Ktikado of Tinos. They all started in 1994 when Zozhefina Delatola began selling the handmade pasta to the local market, first being the tomato chilot. A few years later, her daughter, Louise Armacola, decided to open her own business in Athens, where she took with her an old grandmother’s closet. The business was named “from the grandmother’s closet” and immediately returned to the ancestral lands, since the love for Tinos and the desire to support it prevailed.

Tinos capers, artichoke pickles and artichoke paste, crimson, wheat with sun-dried tomatoes and lentils with sun-dried tomatoes, came in jars and they were dressed with labels bearing on them a single painting: that old cabinet that gave it his name to the cottage industry. Sweet sweets and marmalades were added to the … buns with berry, grape, lemon and cherry to stun the everyday lihuddies.
